Poltergeists is a couch co-op game where you play as poltergeists trying to haunt your victim into running away. Choose from four different ghosts, and mess with your surroundings as much as possible to build up the fear meter. See how many rooms you can scare the resident out of before dawn breaks.
I worked on this game as part of a duo alongside Valeriya Lakhtikova during the final semester of my undergraduate in game development. We built it in Unreal Engine 4, and created all the assets ourselves, including the audio, meshes, textures, and sprites. My focus was on the C++ development using the engine's core library.
This was a fun project to work on, I got to use some handy-dandy programming design patterns including command and observer, and I ended up demoing it at the graduate showcase.
